This was a great wine for sipping this summer, my bbq and luau guests loved it, i added sugar to raise the abv to starting sg 1.09, the wine is a fruity sweet wine with a watermelon and strawberry flavor which like it says tastes candied, not a more natural flavor like i had hoped for but i find myself loving this wine all the same. I prefer dry and only slightly sweet wines and this one is a little sweeter than i usually consume but for the summer, out on a warm night by my pool this was perfect, the leftover bottles will likely take a back seat for the winter in my cellar but come next summer i will reach for these again. In the meantime i am currently mid fermentation on the white cranberry pinot gris for thanksgiving, and a peach wine i made from peach juice from the peach orchard behind my property, i will certainly write a review on the cranberry island mist when its complete. Happy winemaking
