Ok, think about it like this…when you first started drinking alcoholic red wine, it was an aqcuired taste right? Well this wine is about like that. I’m 5 months pregnant and normally a huge wino. I went from 1-2 glasses a night to nothing at all when I found out I was pregnant. After reading endless articles about drinking wine during pregnancy I’ve decided the best/safest thing to do is to avoid it, so I came across this nonalcoholic wine. When you open it, it smells like regular wine. It was intoxicating to someone who hasn’t had a glass of wine in 20 weeks! I swished it around in my wine glass and sniffed it like I normally do when I drink wine. After the first sip, I’m not gonna lie, I was disappointed. But after about half way through my first glass I was starting to enjoy it. I had my expectations too high at first, but once I started to enjoy it for what it is, I was pleased. I think I can manage with it until I have this baby!

I’m pregnant with my second child and seriously missed the taste of wine this time around… I got this hoping it would do the trick, but it does lack the taste of ‘real’ wine. I was pretty disappointed initially, but found that if you mix it with a splash of OJ it actually tastes like sangria, which has been much more satisfying. I may end up buying more because of this little trick.
